At "Sanggar Luhur", the studio-gallery of the late Sudjana Kerton, there are displays of Kerton's early works, sketches and drawings from the revolutionary war-tme period of Indonesia, drawings and watercolors from his learning period in Holland and Paris, and graphics lithographs, etchings and woodcuts from his New York days. In addition, there are oil paintings from the 1940's, 1950's and 1960's. In the back of the gallery, you'll find the walls covered with brightly colored murals depicting various paintings that Kerton painted over the years, "Bambu Runcing", Tanah Airku", and "Kuda Lumping". After going round the gallery, refresh yourself with a drink and a traditional Indonesian snack at the "Joglo Corner" situated next tot he gallery. While sipping your drink, relax in a chair and gaze out over the breathtaking view of Bandung city and the surrounding mountains, Mt. Manglayang to the east, Mt. Tamgkuban Prahu to the north and the Malabar hills to the south.
